Step 1: Choose Your Spray Tan

  • The Signature Glow ($55+): our classic spray tan, with natural-looking color and a smooth, even fade. A great place to start.
  • The Performance Tan ($65+): everything in the Signature Glow, plus a hydrating finishing mist to lock your tan in.
  • The Premium Clean Tan ($65+): a clean spray tan with a simplified formula, in Clear or a natural golden brown bronzer.
  • Vacation Tan with Extended Glow ($99+): the Performance Tan plus take-home products to help your color last.

Step 2: How to Prepare for Your Spray Tan

Good prep makes a big difference in how even your tan looks and how well it fades. Before your appointment:

  • Use an exfoliating mitt about 24 hours before your tan
  • Skip oil-based scrubs, which can leave residue on the skin
  • Avoid heavy moisturizers the day of your appointment
  • Arrive with clean, dry skin

Step 3: What Happens at Your Spray Tan Appointment

Every appointment includes the same simple steps:

  • A detailed consultation. We talk about your skin, your undertones, the look you want, and your schedule, such as an event, a photo shoot, or a trip.
  • Getting comfortable. Disposable undergarments and lip balm are included. Wear what you are comfortable with.
  • Your custom tan. Your solution is applied by spray and tailored to you. We blend your hands and feet carefully for a natural finish.
  • A drying powder finish. A luxury finishing powder leaves you comfortable and ready to head out.

You also choose how long to let your tan develop. Classic development is 8 hours, or you can choose a rapid rinse and rinse in a few hours, at no extra charge.

Step 4: What to Wear Afterward

Plan to leave in loose, comfortable clothing, ideally dark and not too tight, until you rinse. Skip heavy sweating and water until it is time for your rinse.

Step 5: Your First Rinse and How Long a Spray Tan Lasts

When it is time, rinse with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry. Your color will look deeper at first and then settle into your final shade.

On average, a spray tan lasts 7 to 10 days and looks its best on days 2 through 4. How long yours lasts depends on your age, skin condition, hydration, hormones, and more. To help it last:

  • Use lukewarm water and wash gently with your hands
  • Choose a spray tan safe body wash, like our Eucalyptus Mint Body Wash
  • Moisturize every day
  • Pat dry instead of rubbing
